Greetings Internet goer!
My name is Luke Nappi and it seems you’ve managed to navigate to my page of personal interests. As the title so eloquently states, here is where my outline of the personal interests in my life, such as hobbies, friends, music and more, exists. So without further delay let’s begin.
I’m currently attending Youngstown State University as a full time student, but always doing schoolwork would send me insane and so there are of number of things I do to enjoy the downtime that I have. Starting with general hobbies, at the top of the list is gaming. Adventure, RPG’s, FPS’s, MMO’s, arcade and more are in the range of games I enjoy. They’re definitely a great way to waste time and are generally a nice relief from the usual grind. Watching movies falls into this gategory as well. Like games, there are a number of genres I’m interested in: action, adventure, thrillers, sci-fi, historic, etc. Surfing YouTube always provides good entertainment and when it comes to the outdoors my interest is in airsoft. Essentially MilSim, it’s exciting and a fun, fairly safe substitution for shooting firearms, which is also great!

Moving on, I have an awesome group of friends that I get to share my down time with. One of the best things about this group is that we all share exceedingly similar interests in the things mentioned above, making it always enjoyable to be around them. We laugh at the same stupid stuff and can generally find interest in what the others do. They’re easy to hang out with and we have a lot of great times together.
Music is one of the biggest parts of my life. I do quite a bit with it and am always interested in exploring it further every day. First off, music is great to listen to and I know many people will agree. Alternative, rock, electronic and some pop are what I find myself listening to. Along with listening to it, I love making music. Piano, guitar, bass and an assortment of brass instruments are in the mix. Plus I highly enjoy writing arrangements and compositions for both my own interest and for my job. I work with the music director as a brass tech/coordinator at the high school from which I graduated. I spend time towards the middle and end of summer and through the fall working with the band, particularly the brass section, to prepare them for their performances. As mentioned before, I also get a few chances to bring a piece that I’ve written to the director and have it included in the repertoire to some capacity. Through this I've developed an interest in the performances and styles of drum corps. It’s a great opportunity to work with the kids, the music, and the other staff members. Check out more about the band here.
Thanks for taking the time to read my personal interests page, I hope it gave you some insight to who I am and what I do to enjoy my free time. If you want to know more, here’s the link to my facebook page.
